Hyundai Launches Next-Generation Venue in India
Hyundai Motor India has officially launched the next-generation Venue compact SUV on November 4, 2025. This new model introduces significant design enhancements, advanced technology features, and improved safety systems, aiming to strengthen Hyundai’s position in the competitive sub-4 meter SUV segment.
Design and Dimensions
The 2025 Hyundai Venue showcases a bold and modern exterior, featuring a wider front grille with prominent horizontal slats, vertically stacked LED headlamps, and sleek daytime running lights integrated along the bonnet line. The rear design includes connected LED taillights and a sculpted tailgate, aligning with Hyundai’s latest design language. The vehicle’s dimensions have been expanded, now measuring 3,995 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,665 mm in height, making it 48 mm taller and 30 mm wider than its predecessor. The wheelbase has also been extended by 20 mm, enhancing interior space and comfort.
Interior and Features
Inside, the new Venue offers a dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic display that integrates the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system. The cabin is equipped with ventilated front seats, a Bose 8-speaker premium sound system, and ambient lighting. Hyundai’s Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) system, powered by NVIDIA, provides over 70 connected car features and supports over-the-air (OTA) updates for 20 controllers. The vehicle also includes a voice-enabled electric sunroof, blind-spot view monitor, and a 360-degree camera system.
Safety and Performance
Safety has been a focal point in the new Venue, which introduces Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with 16 features, including Smart Cruise Control, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, and Lane Keeping Assist. The SUV is constructed with 71% high-strength steel and offers over 65 safety features, with 33 standard across all variants, such as six airbags, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, and all-wheel disc brakes.
The 2025 Venue retains its existing powertrain options: a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. Transmission choices include manual, automatic, and dual-clutch transmission (DCT) options, catering to diverse driving preferences.
Variants and Pricing
Hyundai has introduced a new “HX series” naming strategy for the Venue lineup. Petrol variants are labeled as HX2, HX4, HX5, HX6, HX6T, HX8, and HX10, while diesel variants are offered as HX2, HX5, HX7, and HX10. The Venue N Line is available in two trims: N6 and N10. Color options include six monotone and two dual-tone shades, with new additions like Hazel Blue and Mystic Sapphire. Pricing for the new Venue starts at approximately ₹8 lakh (ex-showroom), with the Venue N Line beginning around ₹11.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
With these comprehensive updates, the 2025 Hyundai Venue is poised to compete robustly against rivals such as the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite, offering a blend of style, technology, and safety features to Indian consumers.
