Saibal Chatterjee of NDTV rated the film 2 out of 5 stars, commenting that it lacks a compelling narrative and revisits debunked theories. Rishabh Suri of Hindustan Times also awarded it 2 stars, noting that the dialogue is loud when it should be sharp, and the arguments shallow when they should be persuasive. At the box office, the film opened with a worldwide collection of ₹1.04 crore on its first day and has accumulated ₹3.50 crore to date.
