Thousands Missing as New Horrors Emerge Following RSF Capture of Sudan’s El-Fasher

The recent takeover of El-Fasher, the capital of North Darfur, by Sudan’s paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has led to widespread atrocities, including mass killings and disappearances. Reports indicate that thousands of civilians are unaccounted for, raising grave concerns about the humanitarian situation in the region.

Mass Executions and Ethnic Violence

Eyewitnesses describe RSF fighters conducting house-to-house raids, executing unarmed civilians, and using racial slurs during the assaults. In one of the most harrowing incidents, over 460 individuals, including patients and medical staff, were killed at the Saudi Hospital in El-Fasher. Satellite imagery has confirmed these mass killings, with evidence of bodies and mass graves throughout the city.
